How Long Does It Take to Install a Commercial HVAC System?

A: There is no honest single number, because a commercial install is scoped on the building, not over the phone. Three things set the schedule, and we pin all three down before a date goes on the calendar.

  • A load calculation on the actual space — square footage, occupancy, glass, and how the building is used
  • Equipment availability. New ducted systems now ship with R-454B refrigerant (GWP 466) rather than the R-410A that manufacturers stopped building for residential equipment on 1 January 2025, and stocking varies by model
  • Whatever the ductwork and electrical actually need, which we only know after we have been above the ceiling

We sequence the work around your operating hours where the building allows it, and we tell you that sequence up front instead of giving you a vague window.

Estimates for a new or replacement system are free. Commercial rates differ from our published residential pricing, so call 405-420-4895 and we will walk the building with you. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm.
