A: Geothermal costs more up front than a conventional system, and how much more depends almost entirely on your loop field — soil, acreage, drilling access, and whether the loop runs horizontally or vertically. That is why Trinity does not publish a geothermal price the way we publish other numbers. For reference, a typical conventional residential installation with us runs $7,500–$10,000, averaging about $8,000; geothermal sits above that range.

What we will not do is hand you a payback period. Honest payback math depends on your current fuel, your usage, and your loop design, and any contractor quoting you a tidy number before seeing the property is guessing.
