How Much Does a New HVAC System Cost?

How Much Does a New HVAC System Cost?

A: A typical residential system replacement in our area runs $7,500 to $10,000, and our average job lands near $8,000. That covers equipment and labor on a standard changeout — not major duct work.

Where a job moves inside that range:

  • Tonnage and layout — a small house in Purcell and a 3,000 sq ft house in Edmond are not the same install
  • Equipment choice among the brands we install: ClimateMaster, Samsung, and American Standard
  • Efficiency level above Oklahoma's legal floor. We sit in the DOE South region, so a new split-system air conditioner has to meet at least 14.3 SEER2. A 13.4 SEER2 unit that is legal to install new in Ohio is not legal here
  • Duct repairs found during the walkthrough — sealing alone runs $800 to $2,500

Geothermal and custom duct design are quoted separately. Estimates for a new system are free, with no service-call fee attached. See our published pricing, read about geothermal installation, or call 405-420-4895.
