How Long Does It Take to Install a Commercial HVAC System?

A: Long enough that you should get the schedule in writing before anything is ordered — and short enough that it rarely has to happen all at once.

Four things drive the calendar on a commercial job:

  • Equipment lead time, which is set by the manufacturer, not by us
  • Access — whether a rooftop unit needs a crane and a closed parking area for the day
  • Electrical and structural work the changeout triggers, including any curb adaptation
  • Unit count, since a multi-unit building can usually be phased so only part of the floor is affected at a time

Rather than quote you a number we'd have to walk back, Trinity puts a dated schedule in the proposal after seeing the building. Our normal working hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm, and after-hours and weekend work is available at the after-hours rate when the building can't lose daytime cooling.

Commercial pricing and scheduling both come from the site visit. Call 405-420-4895 or send the building details through our contact form.
