How Can Preventative Maintenance Reduce HVAC Repair Costs?

How Can Preventative Maintenance Reduce HVAC Repair Costs?

A: Do the arithmetic with our own published numbers and the case makes itself.

A Service Agreement is $299 a year, plus $50 per additional unit, and covers the spring and fall visits, 10% off non-warranty parts, and priority scheduling. Against that:

The savings aren't magic. They come from three specific things: catching a failing electrical part before it takes the compressor with it, finding a refrigerant leak while it's still a leak repair, and keeping coils clean enough that the system isn't running long cycles all August.

There is also the timing effect. A repair found on a scheduled visit is billed at $125 an hour during business hours. The same repair on a Saturday in July is $154.50 an hour.

What we won't claim is a guaranteed dollar figure or a payback period. Compare the ranges yourself at hvac-repair-cost, or ask us at 405-420-4895.
