A: Yes — estimates for a new system or a replacement are free, with no service-call fee attached, anywhere in our 18-city service area.

The distinction worth knowing is between the two kinds of visit. A replacement estimate is free. A repair diagnostic is $95, and that $95 is waived if you approve the repair during the same visit. One is us pricing new equipment; the other is us finding out why the system you have quit working.

On a free estimate we do a load calculation rather than copy the tonnage off the old nameplate — which matters in Oklahoma, where the same equipment has to carry a punishing cooling season and a real heating season with ice storms in the same year. You get written options, and if a $150 to $400 capacitor is the honest fix instead of an $8,000 replacement, we say so.
