A ground-source system has no outdoor condenser, no hail-exposed fins, and no outdoor contactor, so almost nothing on a conventional AC checklist applies to it. What matters instead is the loop: flow rate, pressure, and antifreeze. A geothermal system that is quietly losing loop flow keeps running and keeps costing more, which is why the annual check is about numbers rather than symptoms.
